The SEO Metrics tab provides a view of what query segments bring in the most Google organic traffic and include metics on impressions, click through rate, and average ranking, based on the Google Search Console-provided queries for each segment.
This data can quickly show you the source of traffic changes. If traffic has gone down, has an SEO metric gone down as well? The fix for a declining click through rate is substantially different than a fix for declining rankings.
In addition, it can be useful to know if the issue is across the site or only for particular query segments.
Choose the date range and whether to filter to specific device types by clicking the Configure Report link.
